She also consumes low-fat yogurt especially together with her morning exercise routines. Eva usually doesn’t crave for food but she loves to treat herself at times like eating cookies or pizza. Included also in Eva Longoria’s diet plan is consuming lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats. She makes sure she consumes healthy snacks but also includes Ahoy chocolate chip cookies, one of her favourites when she was still a child.
For Eva Longoria’s exercise routine, she works out together with her personal trainer Patrick Murphy for one hour three times a week. Eva doesn’t like going to the gym so her trainer goes to her house to workout. Included in Eva Longoria’s exercise routine are strength training, weight training, plus kickboxing cardio. To start her routine, she does a 10-minute warm up using a bike or a treadmill. After which, she does 25 and 30 body exercises such as lunges with torso twists, squats, leg presses for the butt and one-legged squats.
Eva does push-ups using a balance tool like the Bosu dome. She completes all these exercises with 30 to 45 seconds rest in between each set. She also does power walking that is part of her cardio exercises which helps her burn a lot of calories. She prefers power walking than jogging because she feels it’s easier on the joints and muscles. Eva Longoria’s exercise routine also includes yoga and kickboxing.
Her personal trainer always changes her exercise routine so she doesn’t get bored. Furthermore, using the same motions because of repetitive exercises can lead to minimal noticeable results.
