Sammi Sweetheart Giancola Weight Loss Workout


Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola of MTV’s Jersey Shore has lost 15 pounds. So how did Sammi “Sweetheart” lose all the weight? She increased her cardiovascular exercise and reduced her carbohydrate intake in her diet for her ideal weight loss. You can see from the pictures below how much weight she truly lost.  Sammi does a lot of soccer drills, which she played as a college athlete. Soccer is one of the best forms of an interval workout because you repeatedly jog and sprint throughout the entire length of the soccer field. Interval training like this helps Sammi burn even more calories. Steady paced cardio doesn’t ramp up the metabolism enough to burn fat well after the exercise is done compared to doing intervals, which continuously burns fat long after the fitness workout is done.

According to an interview with Life & Style, Sammi, 22, said, "I just changed my diet, and the next thing you know the pounds just came off. I miss it like crazy, but I don't eat pasta anymore. I eat my vegetables and try to stay healthy."

Amazingly, Sammi, who recently split with her boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, was able to lose all the weight during Season 2 of her reality show Jersey Shore filmed in Miami – where she and her roommates continuously partied well into the night. 

While Sammi lost weight and got super skinny, her roommate Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi admitted to gaining weight and getting fat during Season 2 in Miami.  "I used to be fit," the 22-year-old told Us Magazine. "Now I look at myself, and I'm like, What the hell happened?"

The 4’9 Snooki is going on Dr. Siegal’s cookie diet, where she eats six cookies a day plus a small meal.  Each cookie contains beef and milk protein totaling 11 grams of carbs and 90 calories.
