Jennifer Aniston or Rachel Green to Friends fanatics is one of the most admired Hollywood celebrities. She had managed to maintain her slender figure since she became famous in the hit TV series Friends until now. Jennifer Aniston is a best example of how Hollywood celebrities maintain a healthy and ideal weight with proper exercise and diet.
She is into yoga and meditation, and Jennifer would normally start her exercise routines by doing a 22-minute cardio workout. Within this cardio session, her trainer had broken down the routines into the following:
  • Warm up of 5 minutes
  • 22 minutes moderate to high density cycling
  • 15 minutes run on the treadmill at 6mph and 1.5 inclined
Aside from the cardio workout, Jennifer tones up her muscles by doing Budokon which is a combination of martial arts, yoga and meditation. Her yoga sessions are also scheduled at three times a week and it lasts for about 30 – 40 minutes of yoga poses focusing on her breath and alignment.
When it comes to her diet, she was actually one of the first Hollywood celebrities who used The Zone diet to keep her in shape. This popular diet would cut down her consumption of mayonnaise, sandwiches and fried foods intake. Jennifer would have to make sure that in every meal she gets 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. This kind of fat burning diet helps in keeping her blood sugar level regulated.
She is now into the Baby Food diet, wherein she eats pureed fruits and vegetables packed in small jars. These baby foods are either taken as snacks or a complete replacement for an entire meal. In this kind of diet, Jennifer would have to eat 14 portions of pureed food in a day and then it would be followed by a healthy dinner.
