Gaining Self Confidence

One of the famous life quotes by motivational speaker Jim Rohn is -"Success is not to be pursued; it is to be attracted by the person you become."
And what kind of person is most likely to attract success? You are right, it is the self-confident person.
The self confidence trainer can lead you step-by-step towards greater confidence and self esteem.

So what is self confidence?
Self Confidence is belief in yourself. It is your ability to trust your abilities. Gaining self confidence means improving that ability. It is improving your ability to trust yourself.
"Self Confidence is first requisite to great undertakings." -Samuel Johnson
Why Is Self Confidence Important

gaining self confidence increases odds of success1. Self confidence dramatically increases your odds of success in your endeavors, whatever it is that you set for yourself to do.As is our confidence level, so is our capacity.

Think about this:
If you trust your abilities, you would naturally put them to the best use when working on your plans.
And when you put your abilities to best use, it is only natural, again, that your odds of success are so much higher.
"Your chances of success in any undertaking can always be measured by your belief in yourself." -Robert Collier

2. Your perception of yourself affects how others perceive you.If you are a confident person, who believes in yourself, it radiates in your words and actions. Others will pick up that self belief you exhibit in yourself, and start to believe in you more.
See how the circle completes? People like, respect and trust confident people.
"The man who has confidence in himself, gains the confidence of others." -Hasidic Saying
What Does Being Confident Mean

Does it imply being perfect every time?
No. Being confident is not about lack of imperfections, but about fearless acknowledgment of your imperfections. Gaining self confidence is not about becoming flawless, but about accepting your flaws fearlessly.
"Confidence comes not from always being right, but from not fearing to be wrong." -Peter T. McIntyre

Does it mean knowing the outcome of situations, always and with certainty?

developing self confidence helps handle uncertainityOf course not. But, being confident means always being comfortable with the uncertainty that comes with NOT knowing the outcome of situations.
Confident people can really, truly tolerate uncertainty.
How do they do that?
They know they can handle it, whatever the outcome of a situation be.

And how much do confident people worry about what others say or think?
You are right. They don't.
To quote Eleanor Roosevelt, "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent."
Confident people don't let other people's words or perceived thoughts dictate how they feel. They trust themselves far more than letting other people's perceived reactions get in the way of what they intend to do.
"It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to." -W.C. Fields

So do confident people always succeed?

Unfortunately, no. But they do enjoy a significantly higher chance of success. Why? Because their belief in themselves is unwavering when they face a momentary failure.
They learn from it.. and move on. They may try and fail, but they don't fail to try.
Their motto?
