Aerobic Exercise Benefits


You need to get that heart pumping for at least 20-30 minutes three to four times per week. You owe it to yourself to get some healthy exercise. The benefits are numerous:
* You’ll feel better overall
* Your mood will improve
* You’ll suffer less from PMS
* Your self-esteem will soar
* You’ll have more energy
Don’t you agree that you deserve to feel great? Absolutely!
When you exercise, you strengthen your heart and lungs. You Burn Calories which will help you maintain a healthy weight. The muscles in your body will be toned. And even long after your aerobic Exercise routine you’ll continue you burn more calories throughout the day. Your resting metabolic rate will increase so you won’t have to feel guilty about eating that popcorn while you watch a movie at the theatre.
If you’re a mom you’ll have more energy for everything you need to get done. A domestic engineer’s job is never finished, so you owe it to yourself and your family to be as healthy as possible. You’ll also be in a better mood and able to tolerate the stressful events that life throws at you. Imagine yourself handling the terrible twos with a smile on your face!
Aerobic exercise isn’t hard to get. You might try
* Taking the kids to the park and joining in with their play
* Join a softball, basketball, or volleyball team
* Volunteer to help prepare and deliver meals on wheels
* Woo your partner into taking you dancing
Even just taking a brisk walk will do much to help you get your aerobic exercise.
As an adult you no doubt have your share of stressful life events. But that doesn’t mean you have to take life too seriously. It’s ok to be laid back and let go your inner child once in awhile. Don’t be shy or embarrassed to act a little silly if you feel like it. Life was meant to be enjoyed so put those worries on the back burner for a little while. Be a kid every now and then and you’re guaranteed to be better equipped to deal with all those worrisome things.
